Congress’ internal turmoil will pave way for BJP's victory: Madan Rathore

Jaipur, Sep 3 (SocialNews.XYZ) BJP State President in Rajasthan, Madan Rathore, launched a sharp attack on the Congress over the turmoil that has reportedly emerged within the party following ticket distribution for the upcoming civic body elections.

He said Congress should stop worrying about the BJP and instead focus on resolving the internal discord within its own ranks.

Dismissing reports of resentment or “damage” within the BJP, Rathore said there was no discontent in the party.

“If no damage has occurred, where is the need for damage control? We have no shortage of capable workers. Those who did not receive tickets understand the principle of ‘Nation First’ and will continue to work with dedication for the party,” Rathore said.

He emphasised that the BJP is not centred around individuals but is rooted in ideology and organisation.

“The BJP is an organisation-driven party. Here, the organisation is greater than the position, and the nation is greater than the organisation. Even those who had hoped to contest on a party ticket are disciplined workers who will continue to work with full commitment to strengthen the organisation,” Rathore said.

Rathore also criticised the Congress over allegations that emerged after a state Vice President of the Youth Congress was denied a councillor ticket in Jaipur.

He said the episode had raised questions about the Congress’ claims of women’s empowerment. “What could be more shameful than a situation where a woman worker -- belonging to the very Congress party that raised the slogan ‘Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon’ -- is forced to justify her political right to a ticket by explaining what she personally did for an MLA?” Rathore said.

He questioned whether Congress tickets are distributed based on a worker’s merit, public service and commitment to the organisation, or based on personal equations and alleged favouritism.

Rathore said Congress must explain the apparent gap between its political messaging on women’s empowerment and the allegations emerging from within its own organisation.

Rathore said the upcoming local body elections would provide voters with an opportunity to assess the BJP’s organisational strength and the public’s trust in the party.

While BJP workers are actively reaching out to voters, he said, Congress continues to remain embroiled in disputes over ticket distribution and internal disagreements.

“The Congress’ internal discord, disputes over tickets and dissatisfaction among workers show that the party has lost touch with its grassroots base,” Rathore said.

Referring to the recent altercation involving the Congress District President in Bikaner amid a dispute over ticket distribution, Rathore said the incident reflected the dissatisfaction and factionalism within the Congress.

He asserted that the election results would send a clear message to the Congress. “The people of Rajasthan want development, good governance and strong leadership, not blame games and internal strife. The BJP is moving forward with this conviction,” Rathore said.
